The Deep

We had just moved to Albuquerque when I painted this painting. My feelings and thoughts were of missing my friends that we left behind. I decided to do an underwater scene , which is one of my favorite themes to paint. When I finished this painting, I saw several friends in it, so this became special to me. I know this is an underwater scene, but I see at least four
ladies with hats on with their arms around each other.
