Golden Sunrise

This painting is one of the paintings that I started working with clayboard. I found that the surface is a harder one than the paper and canvas that I was used to. I really enjoy working on the board but I just had to get used to the surface not giving. I love winter scenes, and since I spent my childhood in Nebraska, I have seen many scenes with the sun shinning on the snowy, winter landscapes.
