This is another one of my large paintings. The yuccas go from large in the front to fading into the background. I painted this painting on shiny, slick paper. It was thick enough to hold the wax. That brings me to say that most of the time I don’t paint with thick layers of wax. I guess it is something like writing, everyone makes their letters different.
I like the way the southwest desert is brought out in the orange, red, blue, and brown colored wax.
